so many options, so many decisions to make, just wish someone would scoop me up for sponsorship at this point LOL, i've dropped so much money already, a 6262 sounds like a decent route but my whole setup would have to change, but again guys thanks for all the input.

Hay mate i am working on a similar build to you myself, but im not running meth and I am 2.3.

I have a while to go yet for the turbo but i am leaning towards t/s set up on a t4 flange running an EFR 76/70 with the 1.05 ar but i am still researching and reading.
I have lots of time on my hands but this gives you another option.

Forget the stock frame IMO. You have invested so much money + not a DD = go all out on it and enjoy what you have payed for. IMO I would go with a FF 6262

FF means forward facing? Sorry guys I was in the army and acronyms ran rampid as is, ok so u now how everything has it's breaking point? I just want the ultimate combo of quick spool with high horsepower, 6262 BB is very popular mainly cause it works and it's been proven time and time again. I really want 700hp, and ur right I've spent so much money already it be stupid to have a turbo that's under rated for my set up. Maybe I'm just use to the quick spool of the black, but overall I was just wanting something that spools like the black that could crack or close to 700hp.

Im dont know much on big turbo setups but can you tune with nos and meth to get a quicker spool. I dont hear much about it but if you are only running it for weekends this may be a way to spool faster. If not I am always trying to learn to please tell me why. Thanks

I have a 50/50 water meth kit from coolmist, it isn't no aqua mist 1000 dollar system but it does the trick, I never thought of a water meth kit allowing a turbo to spool fast, always though they just mimic a higher octane fuel allowing for more boost and advancing timing for a tune, correct me if I'm wrong

HTA86 FTW! 735 with a weak ignition.

Now those r numbers that would make me happy, what's the spoolup like on that hta86 turbo compared to an fp black?

Damn I just saw ur vids from the dyno pull at Allwheel drive, sick, I guess my car being down for 9 months isn't as bad as your 2 year wait. So at what rpm do u hit full boost? With a 2.3 stroked it probably kicks in at a lower rpm then a 2.0 would I would assume.

Yes it's foward facing! Looks so BADASS... Like the guys have said 6262BB, HTA35R or you can wait and see how those borg warner turbos perform which look really promising. Also with your car being a DD you shouldn't worry so much about the lag. Just know your car/setup and use the revs/downshift to your advantage.

With any of those turbos you will have a really nice power band. The FP black spools sooner, but I've heard it's pointless to rev it more than 8.5K... With these turbos, spool up will be later, but you can rev higher which would make up for the lag.

Got it narrowed down to like 3 selections to run with, sad part is none of them that were suggested are internal wastegates, all external, so for now Ill jus tune with the black cause of time restraints and save up for a different setup down the road, thanks for all the input and info, seems like an internally wastegated turbo setup can be viewed as the farm league and an external wastegated turbo setup is starting to look like the pro league.

I like this route for a 2.0L myself. Is the 1.06 the smallest TS T4 housing that can be used with the 86, though? Just wondering
