Gt3076R To GTX3076R

I'm using a gt3076r with 0.63 making around 430whp & 53kg/mm boosting 1.8 bar ... My engine is also a built 2.0L ...
I was wondering is it worth to replace my gt3076r to the new gtx3076r ?
If i do replace it ... should i stick with 0.63 or upgrade to 0.82 hotside ?

What i'm looking for is faster response & better torque ...
Hoping to get usefull information from the SIFU here ...

from these results i really didn't rate the gtx series... i would almost be more tempted to do a HTA conversion instead

For quicker response the GTX3071R would be a more appropriate choice.

if he wanted to use the same hotside, buying the GTX307x would be much cheaper as it comes without an exhaust housing.
HTA vs GTX would be an awesome comparison, especially in response

Guys .. thanks for the opinions ...
The reviews is done using sti 2.5 ...
So i don't really know how it will perform in my 4g63 2.0L ...
Actually i'm very happy with my gt3076r ... but now with all the hype going around the new gtx ..
So i thought of giving it a try ... As i mention before ... i'm not aiming for higher hp ... Just want faster reponse & maybe more torque ... And yes .. i only need to change the core to transform my old gt3076r into gtx3076r ..That will save some money for me too ... What you guys think ?

Like ScorpionT said, if you want better response go for the GTX3071... it should make the same power but with better response

Like the others said, if you want the same power but more response, go with the GTX3071. The smaller compressor wheel is lighter which make response better.

What fuel are you using and are u stuck on the 30r? There are other turbo setups that can gain some on the torque, spool and overall power

Unfortunately in my country (Malaysia) ..
We only have ron 95 or ron 97 .. No E85 ...
I think i'm going to use back my 0.63 hotside coz its welded to my downpipe & I don't wanna custom made another downpipe .. That will cost me more money ... (so i guess i'm stuck with 30r)
By reading the full reviews done by perrin with his sti ...
I think it should producing more power & torque ...
So gtx3076r with 0.63 is my first choice now ...

The GTX3076R will produce more power/torque but it wont be at the same RPM. For better response, the GTX3071R is the best choice. You will also see more torque at a lower RPM.

I agree with staying with the .63, you will lose some response if you go with a larger housing. You should gain some response with the gtx billet wheel....keep us posted, there's not too much onfo on these turbos on 4g63

Some question about FP HTA 3076 ...
I noticed that the a/r is 70 while my gt3076 is only 60 ?
Is there any difference between the gtx3076r or the FP HTA 3076 ?

The larger compressor housing is used to accommodate for the additional airflow. I believe this was changed sometime into production, because my GTX3076R has a .60 a/r compressor cover.

The GTX has a 58mm compressor inducer, and the HTA has a 55mm inducer, airflow ix about 58lb/min vs 65 lb/min.

I like the HTA version because they use a 35R based compressor cover, something Garrett should have done as well. However, its not done because they wanted the turbo to be a drop in replacement for the GT series.
