That's all boost. We have nitrous on the car, but have not shot it to date. The 80 or so people at the Modified Tuner Shootout can attest to the fact that the bottle was out of the car during dyno pulls. It's all boost on a 62mm on E85.

I can't give the HP of the car based on our magazine commitments, but I can tell you this.....it was more than the torque.

That does suck...I've been there many of times.

I love how people think 'building' a transmission will make them bullet proof. When you run these cars to this level **** is going to happen....period. There is no magical fluid that will save them.

Hopefully things get fixed and the car is back at it soon!!!

Essentially identical numbers from corporate Dynojet and DynaPack.

would a straight cut synchro mesh gearset solve that problem?
i.e. not twisting forces from the helical cut gearset, causing the casing to split?

Wow I can't wait to pick this meg up. I think I remember seeing somebody that had a spare 2.4L stroker from one of their time attack cars that you did up in Vegas. I assume with that torque its a 2.4L with some serious head work and cams you got going on in there. Plus probably well over 40psi...

2.2L with under 40psi. The head is our fully CNC'd Insane Speed head.

We currently have CNC heads for Supra, Evo 8 and GTR. These are not copied heads either. We completely redesign our heads to achieve what we are looking for. This is the first itteration based off the Mitsubishi port design. Our full bore Insane Spec head where we weld closed the ports and completely redesign the entire head with our own port design will be next in line.
sounds like the stuff my dreams are made from ive actually got to ride in a turbo nsx that mike did some work on it was a newer model yellow with hre wheels on it ive heard all about his work
