If someone made me a decent offer I would probably sell.
i would love love LOVE an automatic in my car. idk why we cant do it.

I still wanna see the Dyno sheet of a 62mm Turbo making 800lbs of tq with 800+ hp since you said the HP is more then the tq, No Spray and 40 Psi... Pretty hard to believe... Many Know the 62mm Turbos can make 800 hp easily but end up with close to 600 or slightly over 600 tq just like the Dyno sheet from Most Wanted's Car, But both 800 + and 800 tq?? Even with a 2.2L and some crazy head/cams. Without Dyno Sheet Pictures of car or something atleast... it is skeptical to alot of ppl.

a little gorilla glue and some jb weld that trans case will be back up to workin in no time haha...but on the reall 800 tq is ridiculous i bet u that thing pulls harder then a rollercoaster...a rollercoaster id be down to go for a ride in when you get that back up n running...now since u went the shep route with there best trans and it still failed...is it possible for them to build you a new trans...but with a denser metal then the stock case....like maybe somethin thats either steel or maybe titanium then the trans casing should hold up better?
good luck n congrats on bein a cover of a popular magazine thats a goal of mine down the road. haha

I don't think anything short of casting your own cast iron case for the transmission components is going to survive 800tq with such a small footprint.

What dyno was this 800 ft lbs on? Curious as to what clutch, what it looks like, what the flywheel looks like, and the crank looks like. Good job, that is definitely carnage it makes me feel like mine was pedestrian

Todd,

Is the car running our intercooler or is the new machine? Anyways... I can't wait to see the video, i'm subscribed to this thread or email it to me. Great job! Can't wait to see what this car does when the bugs are worked out and you find a trans that can hold the power.

Thanks!

Michael

Crazy stuff!

There's a Canadian company that makes case braces from 6061 to suit Nissan GTiR boxes which suffer badly from case flex, particularly at the end plate.
Its a ~25-30mm thick piece of billet cut out in the shape of the case and sits over it holding it together.
Another i've seen for Mazda GTR's is similar however also bolts back into the main gearbox studs like an outer shell.

Just had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks back. What motor mounts and tranny mount are you using?
