That does sound like a good option if you have the money to go that route....

I think the hta green would really hurt the usefullness of the 2.4LR's ability to rev. It will simply run out of steam before you can really wind it up. Go with a black or even a red with it and it would be much better. To the OP... Go with the HTA green and be happy with great spoolup/transient response, tons of Tq, and great top end also.

Went from the stock 9.8cm to IX to SST back to IX and you know what the IX is a super street friendly spooling torque kinda turbo.
The grunt in lower rpm is always welcome in the city were I am 90% of the time. With a good tune and FMIC at 25 psi it is very enjoyable.

With that said we alway's want more. So in 2-3 weeks if you ever had a more powerful car you are going to want more.

GO HTA GREEN.

I would love to have a car with 300 lbs/tq at 2500rpm and 400whp. Never saw that and I don't know if even a 2.4 would do it.
I would prefer lots of torque VERY low and less HP than those big laggy setup...

This comes very close as MY IDEAL SETUP WOW...

I did a car recently that made 430wtq by 3500rpm lol.. it was a stock 8 turbo with a 2.3L. the car ran into ignition issues, so after he replaces ignition i think it will make even more torque.

WOW nice post the graph. 300ft/lbs at?

It's in fact Roberts car with the 71HTA so spool is earlier.

The cars as ALL the special sauce to it so it's far from a common setup.

Nah just 93 octane and 28 psi. FREAK CAR for sure. Even with the 71hta it's 300-400rpm earlier than this graph to 300 tq, amazing.

71hta doesnt make anything near the power the 73hta green makes, so im confused about the graph on fp's site on green vs this 71hta one if both turbos are 93oct.
ive only tuned 1 car on the 71hta, and it spools quick as hell.

that is 4th gear im sure. the graph i posted is 3rd gear. i bet if i did a 4th gear on that 2.3 he would hit full boost around 2900rpm or so.

ya that's pretty impressive for the 71hta on pump gas. the green should make more power tho on pump gas then that turbo, and he put down less with it according to fp's site. although that was older also, he changed a few parts on his car.

but ya, stock 8 turbo is going to outspool a modified 9 turbo, that's not even questionable. the graph i posted is starting the pull late and 3rd gear.
