P.E.A on intake? (pic)

P.E.A on intake? (pic)

anyone have any idea what the PEA stands for or what it does? Asking because i noticed one of the small tubes was not attached and i dont know how long it has been like that. i assume it's some sort of vacuum, but to what?

disregard the big Meth injection tube/solenoid.

Each of the letters corresponds to a different vacuum source. I have a JDM set-up on my intake mani but I am guessing:

P - Purge
E - Evap canister
A - Actuator

A simple vacuum diagram should sort things out for you.

if i remember correctly, the Actuator tube was disconnected. what would this affect? i didnt notice the car running any differently - than normal?

i've done some research - i think this yellow vacuum tube runs to the EGR. If the tube was disconnected, the EGR wouldnt work at all?
