Should i sell my BLITZ DD BOV (VTA) and get a Greddy Type - S? I like the sound of the whooosh but i dont know the sound of a greddy type s. I've seen some threads where they say it makes a chirp sound and i know wut they're talking about.. its a cool sound and i'll trade that for the whoosh personally. and i am having problems with my car bogging at some times.

The stock div. holds boost fine and makes that "swoosh" sound with an open air element filter.

Naaa...THe stock sucks man. As far as sound goes, the stock doesnt really give that whoose sound that you want from a BOV. I talked to a guy with an aem intake and gredd s, he said you'll be able to hear the whooss sound one block away. I have the aem intake with the stock BOV, all you'll hear is the turbo spool up like crazy. You can hear the whoos, but barely. If you want the sound and the performance, go for the aem intake and greddy s. Later on, I'll get the monster sport CF hood with the open duck on the intake side. THat will give me plenty of cool, dense air. And fur sure I'll get the whooss sound...hehehehe. Peace...

What performance?

People that are buying these things seem to only want it for the sound, and tack on the "performance gain" as a justification.

There has yet to be any real proof of these things enhancing performance at all over the stock dv. I hear of more people having problems with these things than anything else.
