I like the stock metal valve ever so slightly crushed. I realize that the panache factor would be limited....but in Cali this is not such a bad thing to be stock appearing. As a practical matter, for the boost levels that you can probably run with a stock turbo on 91 octane pump gas, a crushed or modded stock metal DV should be up to the task.

i dont think there is a benefit of changing your DV to something with noise, buy a stock IX and call it a day, its metal and works much better .

well to add my 0.02 i had an hks ssq before( used car came with it), after time im now running a greddy type rs, not a bad bov, a little surge at high rpm low boost, but holds 24psi to redline just fine, plus its adjustable. If i could go back I would either buy, a synapse like someone posted, or either an aps twin vent, or a forge dv....any of those are just as good as the stock ix metal dv....good luck

HKS bov wouldnt hold any pressure above 23-2500 rpm, and ive been looking at bov's but some of them look like they need to be welded in and not clamped in like my old one.

ill prob just get a stock IX and call it a day, thanks guys

I went with .samco diverter valve. Works great. It's a piston style and not a diaphragm like greddys or hks.
