Surge Tank Setup...
Is it possible to run just 1fuel filter for a twin external inline setup. Filter run after fuel pump as the twin fuel pump will run into a fuel converter block.Possible? Any flow issue?
Advise please....
Setup will be in this manner;
2.5L Surge Tank -> 02X EXTERNAL FUEL PUMP -> FUEL CONVERTER BLOCK (2XINLET + 1XOUTLET) -> FUEL FILTER -> LINEs to FUEL RAIL.
im not putting a filter between the surge tank and pumps on the output side, im just letting the intank pump thats filling the surge tank do its job. i will have a pump after the Y though.
in tank -> surge -> 2x 044's -> Y fitting -> filter -> rail
in tank -> surge -> 2x 044's -> Y fitting -> filter -> rail

My tank there only one pump outlet...so im running one filter - 2 x Pump - converter block - fuel rail.
FLOW will have no issue right?
Btw n2oric im getting the same filter as yr

THe fuel regulator is commonly AFTER the fuel rail, and essentially acts like a "dam" to regulate the pressure between the pump and the regulator (including the rail).
I'd place the fuel filter between the stock pump and the surge tank, since there's not much line or pressure in that location, and your main pumps would not have to deal with any additional restriction caused by the fuel filter while supplying higher pressure and volume to the rail...

im not done with it. im going to be running a -8 line and this filter after the Y. http://fuelab.com/fuel-filters/828-s...fuelab-filters i see no reason why it would restrict flow, they are made to be ran with huge pumps.

I see afews different methond of putting the fuel reg.
Which is best position..
As i now we need to run 1 X line to the fuel rail & 1 X return line from fuel rail back to surge tank...am i right?
