Looking for good clutch and flywheel setup

Im looking to replace the clutch in my 06 mr. The car has an exedy twin disc thats how i bought it and its pretty much burnt up. I thought about just buying a rebuild kit for it but I have been reading that they dont last very long and this car is my daily driver. I have been looking at the ACT HDSS with streetlight flywheel. As of now im putting down 330 to the wheels, in a few months im planning on adding cams and a few other mods. In the end im looking to have around 400-450whp any suggestions on a nice clutch and flywheel for a daily driver setup?

2 evo buddies and myself all have the HDSS with streetlight flywheel (or Gruppe-S flywheel) and its a fantastic clutch for this platform.

Also, ACT has one of the best technical support teams you will find, great warranty application and the info you need to ensure that you dont have the dredded lock-out issue (yes, you can adjust your pedal to avoid this, but its not "full up" or "full down" as most claim). Common sense and technical knowledge prevail.

2 of the afore mentioned 3 people with this setup (including myself) run TRE built transmissions as well.... just to plant that seed in your head.

Not sure if they make them for the EVO crowd, but South Bend Clutches are great, and very affordable. My brother just got one for his 08 WRX and is very pleased. There seem to be nothing but good reviews of them out there.

Thanks for the info and I think I will be ordering the ACT setup. I'm thinking about getting rid of my exedy twin disk if anyone is interested, it just needs a rebuild and its good to go.

Why not rebuild the twin its much better then the act. I spoke to STM they suggested the hd twin to me but it was out of my budget so they told me to get the ACT XDSS not to use the hdss.

Im not saying the rebuild wont last very long, the whole clutch since its more for like "racing" im just saying that's what i heard. I dont know how thick the clutch disks are originally but to my understanding they are pretty thin and also have a shorter lifespan then a standard thicker single disk? Info and advice would be very helpful I want to put in an order on monday. As of now its between the act hdss, act xtss, exedy stage 2 Cerametallic, or the rebuild for my twin disk. For flywheel im looking at the act streetlight or the fidanza Aluminum.
