help please, car wont start sometimes

hey guys so i have an unusual problem, car has been running great lately then went to go visit some family in south florida from my place in orlando, bout a 3 hour drive... car drove great all the way down there and when i got down there went straight to meet the pops for some lunch, after i ate went to get back in the car and it would not turn over, figured the battery was dead so push started it and drove home and put it on charge... started right up the next day and drove fine for the next 3 days so figured i was just gonna need a new battery no big, but once again on the way back up to orlando i stopped to get some E85 and it wouldnt start at the station so i let it sit for a second put the key back in and it fired right up and now has been doing that every now and then, had battery and alternator checked and both are perfect so i am lost as to why it wont turn over but then give it a second and it will usually fire right up???

Does the car crank and not start after it gets hot or just not crank at all?

car does not crank over, but radio lights and everything works... does making a clicking sounds though, have a feeling it is the starter or solenoid

got under car and started tightening some wires and hitting a bunch of stuff and it works great now... been a few days and it fires up perfect every time so must have been something loose

Does your car have an aftermarket alarm? If so, you starter kill is prolly gone haywire. To test this theory take the fuses out of the brain of the alarm system. If you dont have an aftermarket alarm try the key switch solenoid. Its plastic and it wears. From my exp starters are usually all or nothing. Once theyre gone, theyre gone and it wont start back up.
