Alright after a few days of digging I found that there are 2 separate problems.

1.) was that a wire on my ecu wasn't hooked up well so I fixed that.

2.) My car dies and my logger loses contact because the immobilizer engages. Why is the immobilizer engaging randomly? I have my Mitsubishi programmed key IN the ignition and for whatever reason it thinks it isn't and shuts the car down/prevents it from restarting.

 

No one has had immobilizer issues? The key light flashes even though my programmed key that I have been using to drive the car is in the ignition
