how can i reprogram my own ecu
If you aaaaabsolutely insist on doing it yourself, then get a standalone and lear nthe hard way. At least that way your stock ECU isn't going to be harmed, you can always go back to stock, it costs less, and your point of adjustability and availability for sensors, inputs etc are less limited. I'd recommend against either because you don't sound like you have experience with this kind of stuff. You don't want to learn the hard way. Trust me.
if you wanna reflash your own, technosquare sells TechTom, which is used to flash the ECU they make the attachments and sell the hardward/software.

but your looking to spend about 4000
your other alternative is just go standalone much cheaper
