Weighted shift knob

Hello everyone I wanted to give some feedback for anyone thats interested in a weighted shift knob. I made myself one out of some stainless steel it weighs 642 grams (the stock 06 MR weighs 145) I have already installed under hood bushings and the heavy knob makes a noticeable difference in smoothness its much less notchy going in and out of all gears, I have had other people drive the car before and after and all agree its a lot better with the weight. I hope this helps anyone that is interested.

I have the Big Type R weighted knob from TWM and I love it. I paid through the **** for it but it's made a huge improvement-- more than I would've suspected.

Blox makes one for a reasonable price, with a choice of different colors. It does make a nice improvment when shifting.

Hmm not bad I'm wondering how the circuit hero shift extender would feel in a Evo with a weighted knob

Rookie question: How does the weighted shift knob make it shift better.

People like the weight because it helps get it in gear I think? Maybe its just a how it feels thing?

I have never found a weighted knob to matter much personally.
