well i screwed myself.. i ripped my only last custom contact today as i was putting my contacts in and i tried to wear just 1 and i got an instant bad headache.. so i wont be able to install this thing until i get that contact replaced.. im pretty blind without correction due to not having a lense in the one eye from a bb gun accident when i was younger.. with correction i see 20/20 but without correction its like looking through a foggy piece of paper on the one eye and the other eye can only see good upclose.. so im screwed as far as working on the car goes.

ill get some pics when it arrives tomorrow and video tho of it spinning.

 

F that! Put an eye patch on and get wrenchin! Aaarrrrrrrrrgggg!

 

found my prescription glasses instead.. not a fan of wearing them but will have to do temp otherwise i cant see **** lol.

 

I purchased a dbb garrett gt2871r turbo new for a previous set up and it spun like a journal bearing turbo by hand when I got it at first. I figured it was because it still had assembly lube in it and never seen any actual engine oil So I Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't keep spinning like the "breath " video on youtube if you know what I am talking about but if it does that is cool. can't wait for results.

 

Wear the glasses so u don't get eye infection i get that crap all the time

ya the army has some really nice benefits. i just paid $264 and got back from eye doctors.. i had to get tons of test's done to my eyes but came back with new temporary contacts now i can see better then before

Nice. I've been considering the HKS GTII 7460, but this might sway me to get a dbb fp black. Can't wait to see the results, and congrats on the new turbo!
