Just trying to figure out if there is a vacum hose connect to yor stock BOV. If I look at it from the left side it has a little tube comming off of it and nothing is connected to it. So I was wondering if that is the way its supposed to be?

That little hose should connect to a little metal pipe that should connect to another hose that runs to your intake manifold.

If your car can hold a steady idle and not die out, then it's probably connected.

Okay, that has nothing to do with your bov. There should be a hose connecting that to your vavle cover. Thats the breather valve. Do you see a hose coming off the front right side of your vavle cover? That should be connected to that little pipe.
