If you're of a mind to try a 2.2 you might ponder a LR2.4 as you'll be switching your block at that point anyway. On a larger turbo you'll experience a diminished return as the head reaches the limit of how much air it can deliver in the high rpm range, but it's the best of both worlds on the turbo you've got in mind.

I love my LR2.4. Would do anything else honestly. just my opinion. also moving the wrist pin up 9mm will make the piston weaker... I know of two that didn't survive. if you kept the oil squirters it may work just fine. the HD 1400s may be okay with out squirters. I'm thinking about doing a 159mm rod 2.4 with these piston and hope they don't fail.
