New clutch, hard going into first, reverse

Recently had a new clutch installed, ACT sprung 6 puck. Feels like it's dragging, not getting full disengagement.

I notice that the car moves slightly forward when moving shifter into first. The movement is very slight, almost a rocking motion forward. Once all the way into first, the car does not move. Happens only when first moving the shifter to first but before it's all the way into first.

This is also more of a problem in reverse, as it's more severe.

I can pretty much duplicate it each time, cold or warm but only the first time I put it into first after pressing the clutch. If I take it out of first with the clutch still depressed then put it back into first, it doesn't move. But if I take my foot off the clutch with it in neutral, then press the clutch back in again and go back into first, it moves same goes for reverse.

If say I put the car in third, then into first or reverse it goes in smooth.

Sometimes it's also hard to take out of gear and into neutral coasting to a stop.

Didn't have this problem with the ACT street disk, though it was pretty worn only problem was very notchy shifting.

To add:

Hydraulics are not that old, replaced the master and slave with oem units this past winter along with adding a SS full clutch line. Bled with power bleeder.

Adjustment is as perfect as you can get it.

I'm told it maybe a bent input shaft, or trans fluid( oem 6spd fluid)

Sorry for the long post, hopefully I can get some insight. Thanks

Im having the same exact problems, switched to a new 6 puck act and the issues came. Im guessing the clutch pedal just needs to be adjusted.

Whoa. We both have identical setups too, sprung 6 puck and streetlite flywheel. Did you get the flywheel new or was it used.

I have a stock 6 speed though.

It's been adjusted, clutch engages a bit higher then normal and I have the adjustment rod set to right before the fork won't compress under the hood. Per jacks transmission vid.

Have you adjusted your pedal?

Yeah but the engagement is pretty high with the current adjustment. The adjustment rod is pretty close to end of the thread. I can compress the clutch fork but it's always stiff.
