Turbo help for 2.3L and 91oct...

i have an '03 evo with a 2.3 stroker kit, ported head, buschur intake manifold, kelford 280 cams, buschur t3 tubular manifold turbo kit with pte 6262 .82 a/r turbo, hks 4.11 gears, and all bolt ons. currently, im running 91oct as well as 91 and alky (50/50 denatured and water mix). my alky kit has been working fine but im thinking about removing it just to have a piece of mind, even though it will suck being only on 91 oct lol. im at 6k ft above seal level and looking for the best turbo for my needs. I am currently seing 20psi by 4800rpm in 3rd. turbos i am considering are:

1) just swap to .63 a/r (prob not worth the small gain in spool)

2) pte 5857 .63 a/r

3) hta3076 .63 a/r

4) hta35r .63 a/r

5) fp red/blk/or green

Please post your suggestion, especially if you suggest a turbo not listed. Thank You.

I haven't gotten to drive it hard yet. I've ran into a few hiccups. But at 15psi so far it made 386whp. You are more then welcome to come check it out anytime. Should be back and ready next week.

i would say go with the hta3076 , great usable power band, way more fun, good TQ, and could always make really nice numbers if u go to E85. plus its just a matter of getting a turbo. the other options you would need all new manifolds, downpipes ect....

yea its a tough choice between the hta3076 and 3582. i agree that going back to a stock upgraded turbo probably wont be worth it.

yes it is but im at 6400ft above sea level, seems like 2.3L cars at 5300ft above sea level spool the same as 2.0L at sea level. the elevation is whats killing the spool.

yea im really leaning towards that with a .63 a/r. it was between the black and hta3582 but i dont think the black would make the same or similar power on 91oct, although i do like the spool of the black and 2.3 at this elevation.
