Good luck doing that with a dremel LOL!!! Use a die grinder and some grinding stones.

Your machine shop didn't really do much if they didn't even clearance your motor for everything.

^the op stated that is not where his are hitting. His are hitting the bottom of the cylinder not the sides of the block. See post 13.
