To date the 50 trim has made more HP where most of us spend most of our time. Under 28 psi and on pump gas. The 50 trim turbo has made 503whp on pump has and has also trapped 123 mph on pump.

Most full Garrett 50 trim setups spool around 3800 rpms in a .63 a/r 4 bolt ballistic turbine housing. Garrett has some new GT32 wheels that flow 52 lb/min that *should* offer similar performance as a 49 lb/min 50 trim wheel. Also keep in mind that NONE of the GT30 turbos have made as much power as a 50 trim wheel on pump gas.

The only person to conjure those numbers on pump gas is Dre, and no one else has some close in any shape or form. He might as well be ignored for how well it applys to reality. I might add though....He trapped 123 when he was dynoing like 430.....so I imagine his car could trap 127+ on pump, if it wasn't a dynoqueen.

What interests me is that on AGP's site it says

"Congratulations to Dre for achieving the unthinkable. 503 whp and 441 ft.lbs on an AWD Dyno. Oh yeah, on 93 octane pump gas. Check out the dyno chart here. Dre is running a custom built AGP T3/T4 kit that you can purchase for $1650. Don't ask what wheels and housings are used in the "Dre-Spec" kit because we won't tell you."

It says 50 trim on his dyno sheet, but AGP makes it sound like it may be otherwise. Did Dre himself ever state it was a 50 trim?

Dre was used as an Extreme example as to what a 50 trim wheel can do. Just like Al and Dave are used as extreme example on this forum. Dre also did 446 on pump gas using a green and 466 using a shelf agp 50 trim setup. To date No GT30 has come close to that on pump gas.

Others have quicker ET's making less HP on pump gas using 50 trim turbos and Greens, and you know it. The SLS car went 11.2 on a PTE 50trim on a stock 3 bolt rear and stock motor but using race gas. No GT30 has duplicated what the 50 trim wheel has done on pump gas on a dsm and definitely not on a EVO.

EVO venders have much of the EVO community believing that they need a HUGE GT30 ball bearing 6K turbo setup that supports 600whp. In order to have a fast car. You and I both know that is not the case. Last i checked much of this forum revolves around dyno queen accomplishments.

Oh, I agree, I run a 50 trim when i could afford anything I wanted. Im just saying you shouldn't use Dre as an example without explaining he is the EXTREME.

And I question if the 500 was on a 50 trim, I know he did 466 on one.
