but anyways, i have an exedy twin in the car right now, over the winter i plan on doing either an fp black or an hta86 kit, not sure yet but i don't feel like coming back to this so heres my question


do the exedy twin to triple upgrade or get the QM 8 leg race twin and just sell my twin?

looking for a clutch to hold up to 140+mph in the 1/4

looking for longevity here, dont run the car too often at the track but do launch it on the street ocassionaly, i drive the car once or twice a week

 

triple would be the best bet in my opinion

 

I think both the triple and the 8 leg QM will meet your goals.. there isnt to much data on the new QM so i cant really say, but i just bought a triple HD myself.

Im sure the new 8 leg QM performs quite well though.. QM has proven themselves time and time again for making great clutches.

 

ive been thinking about the same options, has anyone done any testing on the 8 leg? i think junkbox ran it? but not sure.

i run the QM 8 leg in my car, i absolutely love it. lightning fast shifts and i think it drives pretty damn good on the street too
