fp red or 35r??

So I currently have a Fp Red turbo with everything to install, i been waiting to put it in but i am starting to have second thoughts and looking to trade it for a 35r kit that was my orginal plan for the car. I know the 35r is more laggy put should have more top end correct? I was just wondering what would you guys would do honestly keep the Red or trade for a bushur 35r kit(cast mani)? if anyone one has experience with both turbo's it would be great if you could chime in. How does the Red pull compared to the 35r?
My goal is 450+whp on 93 which i would LIKE to hit the more the better all on the stock block. I know ill need a good setup and push the red to achieve that on a dyno jet correct? i have almost full quialty bolt-ons (fmic hks 272 cams etc). low 11's high 10's is also my goal for drag. Thanks guys

I'd say stick with the red as well... Think it'll be a better route then the 35r. faster spool will be much nicer. especially in the 1/4 mile

Thats what I say, fp dbb Black, the best of both worlds imo. When I decide to get a built block, thats what I will be more than likely getting.

More options with the 35R. Plus if you get the FPBlack DBB you won't be far off from a 35R with a cast iron mani (used that is).

35R will hold boost better up top. Plus if you are stock block you can have more power with less TQ downlow and keep the stock rods happy.

Personally I think Lag is overrated when it comes to a street driven (primarily) vehicle. If you are drag racing or road racing then thats a different situation, but if you are looking to enjoy the car I would buy biggest small turbo you can (lol) that you can grow into. You can always downgrade easier then upgrading (IE: Buy a FP Black.......decide its not for you......then buying a t3 or t4 framed turbo and all the trimming will end up costing more then what you can off load the Black for. In reverse you'll probably make money if you decide a stock frame turbo is all you need).

ahh no. I will eat fp reds for lunch in the 1/4.
I have had red, black and now hta 3586 on a 2.4. The last set up is by far the most fun but costs a ton more cash to do right.

I prefer torque so FP Red. If it is a street car then go with the smaller turbo.

2.4 motor with fp green should be about perfect for tons of tq.

best option if you can is to drive a car with the 35r. if your goal is 1/4 mile racing then it seems like you would want the larger turbo.
