I know a lot of you guys run this turbo

Do you guys have an o-ring where the compressor cover meets the chra?

I have an enormous leak.
It won't even allow me to boost leak test the car above 25psi.

It was assembled by FP, I never took it apart before installing it. I did re-tighten all the 6 bolts though.

Took the compressor cover off to find no o-ring or any sealant. Pictures below.

 

These turbos do not use the rubber o rings. Put a small bead of high temp silicone in the grove and put it back together.

 

That's all I needed to know. I wasn't 100% sure. Thanks man.

Hey Dan, what turbo did you have when you went 10.3 on 93 octane? Quick list of mods? Stock ecu?
