Boost behavior has changed

Ok this is an odd question. May be in my head but want to make sure. Just changed from stock UICP to a MUSE Uicp and HKS intake. I have a stock BOV. I was running prior the HKS intake with the Stock UICP.

When i had the Stock UICP with the HKS intake. My boost felt better. and on the highway like in 5 and 6th gear at WOT my boost would creep to like 28...

Now with the Muse UICP and HKS intake my boost seems to hit 25 and stay there in all gears.

Just seems that the characteristics of my boost has changed. IDK if its in my head or not. Was thinking that the stock braided hoses would expand a bit why the boost creep. IDK Just feel that my car isn't as fast. LOL. I am going to get it on the dyno soon and do some tuning. I moved so can't really do many street pulls.

Let me know if I am just being nuts.. I don't think I have a boost leak. I am going to rip apart the piping again and make sure everything is on there right. But I don't hear anything and I hold boost so don't think its a leak anywhere. Ok now I am just rambling.

You were running 3 PSI more boost before. So, of course it felt faster before if boost would creep to 28 PSI, and now it peaks three pounds lower at 25 PSI. So, turn the boost back up again.

Tried that but worried that now I am running more of a true boost due to the hard piping. So don't want to up the boost and kabooooooooooooooom

Have you tested for boost leaks?

Upgrading to a hard upper pipe won't fix boost creep. If you aren't holding as much boost up top as you were before, you probably have a leak.

I agree with the above observations, FWIW!
