okay so here's another one of these threads, any help is greatly appreciated.

the issue is that it feels like my car is hitting a wall at the start of WOT. when i start my 3rd gear pulls, after a few seconds it feels like the motor stops and the car just jerks violently, usually 3 times, and i let off the gas. after it stops i can step on the gas to WOT and it will run fine all the way to redline. plugs are gapped to .024.
ive had the same issue with my old WRX and fixed it when i changed the spark plugs. this fix didnt work for the evo. ive already done a boost leak test and checked all hoses/lines and timing is dead on, no issues. i am currently tuning w Tamer@4WS and we cant seem to figure out the problem.

if anyone has experience this same issue please share what your solution was.

Fuel cut happened to me once, my girlfriend almost went through the window lmfao

 

Ive heard the Megan ex. manifolds crack a lot. I have a crack in my stock manifold. I dont think any aftermarket parts are worth buying for my set up(lightly modded). I may port the replacement though.

 

just had this problem earlier this week. my tuner turned down the boost controller a HAIR, and it stopped.

Had issues similar to this in my 240 due to a boost leak..

 

Replace that thing with a MAP ported stocker or tub..or a Toxicfab. The megan will crack again.

 

True, megans are notorious for cracking. As is any lower end manifold..
