anyone using a walbro and external fuel pump in series for 750+whp?

his is parallel as well, so no difference except he is running one pump externally and maybe difference in if he uses a T or Y fitting.

he can punch the relief on the internal pump and be close enough.

why spend extra $$$ on the same thing, just configured differently?

just buy an 044, and use it to replace your external pump.

take your 255 out, punch the relief valve, then slap it back in.

make sure you are utilizing a Y fitting to tie the 2 fuel lines together.

bam. out $150 for a fuel pump, and plenty of fuel.

i am using a y fitting right now. the external pump is already running in parallel. so if i replace the external walbro, there should be no issue with two different rated pumps running in parallel? in tank pump already has pressure relief punched out.

it will be fine. Using a bigger secondary pump is ok. Just make sure the pickup for the second pump is good.
