It all depends. For instance, if you can go from 0-60mph instantly and that's your top speed as well, your 1/4 run would be 15sec. at 60mph. Or if you can go 0-90mph instantly and that's the top speed, your 1/4 run would be 11.25sec. at 90mph. So it all depends on the power of your car and how fast you are going from the launch and 1/8mile. If your speed is higher than usual at 1/8 than your trap speed at 1/4 would be slower even though your time is better. Vise versa, if your speed at 1/8 is slower, you would have more time left to reach higher speed but your 1/4 time is worse.

If you get to the 60 ft faster you have less distance to biuld speed at the end. I have had 96 up to 100mph at the end but the times are usually all pretty close. looking at your times from the other post if you had a really good take off and run you could hit around a 13.4, which is very respectable. I doubt much faster than that though. But a 13.4 would put you in the top 1/3 of people on this board for stock evo times.

But for your question it all has to do with the 60 ft depending on what happends there it will determine how the rest of the run goes

all things being equal, a 5 mph increase can net you an easy 4-7 tenths of a second.
