car wont start.

car wont start.

Okay so i just changed my clutch out on my car bleed the pedal ect... when i go to start it i hear the fuel pump going but my car doesn't turn over at all, i checked the clutch switch, contiunity checks on the starter idk what it could be right now anyone have any idea or ran across this before?

Check that both wires are connected to the starter. Then check if there are any engine/transmission ground wires that didn't get reattached.

i mean the odds of your starter going at this time are slim, but it could be..... grab a wrench and give the starter a good whack.. and try it again

Also check all the fuses, when i had some work done to mine i had the same problem. I ended up findind a blown fuse after something had been grounded out during the re- install.

I did oms checks on all the fuses all good and did oms checks from + on battery to + on starter same with ground. With clutch engaged I can hear the whining of fuel pump. I know batterys good I tested that. Maybe I reinstalled the ground on the trans wrong idk.

Have you tried jumping the terminals on the starter solenoid?

Yeah. Just remember, if jumping the main wire from the battery, you need to use a wire of equal size or larger. Jumper cables are often used. Also, be aware of this working.

Unless a very dirty connection, I'd say attached is attached. Hard to screw up here.

i figured it out one of the post on the starter was really lose took apart ect blah blah blah now good thanks for the suggestions.

Loose too the touch? What post exactly? Mine some days wont start up either unless I jump it even with a brand new battery that reads 100 percent.

Well theres two post/terminals on the starter the feed for the batter and right next to it is another terminal that the 12v's travel throu into the starter that one was lose. Is ur singal wire getting 10-12vs?
