Boosting high in 6th gear

06 MR, tbe, licp, Perrin intake, mbc, mellon tuned @26 psi. Been running this set up for 2 years. This winter when it got cold I noticed boost in 6th at WOT going up to 30 psi! No other gears are boosting high. It's never done this any other winter.

Any suggestions other than turning boost down? I will try that first.

Turn the boost down to 26psi...Cold weather like this & the load you see in 6th gear is the reason for the higher boost levels...

It's been colder in years past and has never done this. It would maybe hit 27-27.5. It's hitting full on 30 now.

the cold air has more densety to is and thats why your enginge is getting more air ,
if is not tuned at 30 psi , you will spike your enginge and pop a rod , thrue the block ,

Turn down that boost ASAP !
