Ikeya shifter?

I am have been searching for posts regarding the shifter and they're a few here and there, but I want to know what people think who have them installed and are they as crappy as some claim? I hear mixed reviews, some people like them, some dont.

I am considering the shifter but obviously dont want to waste 1200 bucks.

No personal experience, but I've heard for a standard gearbox (i.e. with syncros), you'd still need to use the clutch.

I was considering using one on a dog-box transmission, but never really got a warm & fuzzy feeling on the install, because if you don't get the setup just right, a dog-box is just one bad shift away from being an expensive paperweight.

I heard the install on a typical H-box has the same problems as far as getting the gears just right. I have read that some people have zero problems, and others end up ripping it out and selling it because it causes so much frustration for them.
