Possible bad synchros
How is mitsu handeling synchro problems lately. I have a bad grind in 2nd and 3rd gear. I also can't get it in 2nd at times. I had my clutch replaced at 2600 miles. When they did it I asked if everything else was ok, they said yes. When I got the car back it felt like the clutch engagement was much lower and I had both grinds which at 6k have gotten worse.
Before you make any menacing comments, My car has not been abused at all. I drive spiritidly, but I do not launch nor do I bang gears.
Are these being covered by warranty

if it's bad synchro then it will be covered.
try changing your transmission oil, some ppl did this and have smoother shifting.

I just got a grinding noise into this week. I have redline fluid. Just started after 8k miles. Only does it sometimes. Gunna have mtisu take a look. Hope they dont ***** for all my mods. We shall see.
I was informed today by my stupid *** dealer that they don't cover synchros because any problems would have been caused by the clutch, and they don't cover anything that deals with the clutch. what next the trany is connected too so its not covered, and because that touches somthing else its not covered, eventually the whole car will be non warranty work.
mitsu is the worst company I have ever dealt with, and will never buy from again. soley based on customer service.

I had a bad 4rd gear syncro and the dealer didn't give me any problems. They rebuilt the transmission under warranty and were very good about it. I also paid to have the clutch replaced, just the parts, they took care of the labor. I had 8700 miles on it when this happened. Also ended up replacing the 3rd gear and a few other parts.
