FF Manifold With A/C -Parts-
FF Manifold With A/C -Parts-
Ive been in this forum roaming for about 2 months. I work at SSA in houston and also owned an all motor civic that ran mid 10s even though i had always wanted an evo. so since i have always wanted one, i got rid of the hatch and have been looking around to purchase an evo (NO RUSH IN THAT).
I have also been researching around this forum for information about suspension, engine, transmission, so on. I am going to go with a ff manifold and will be keeping a/c because it is a must in houston and i must say that i went ahead and looked around for parts for those people wanting to keep a/c. If i had the car already, i would have done it and supplied you with whats needed exactly for the conversion. this is also good for a tuck to relocate lines and get rid of those lines by the passenger timing belt side. if someone does this, please provide everyone with all parts needed, unless your a db and hate the world exept you and your loving evo.
I found a site with all sorts of parts and see everything pretty much needed for the conversion. from condensors, lines, fittings, addapters, evaporators, you name it they have it.
IF I POSTED THIS IN WRONG SECTION, PLEASE MOVE TO WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE. SORRY I AM A NOOB....

Not to rain on your thread or anything, but your David Buschur crack is not wanted around here. If you are here to start crap on your first thread, my best advice for you is to just delete your account now because you will get banned anyways.
And on your a/c thing, do a search. Its been done before. That is all.

Evo Compressor, Civic Condenser. A/C Lines: Evo fittings on the Compressor side and Civic fittings on the Condenser side.
Its not rocket science. There is other ways to do it. Civic Compressor and condenser, SAE fittings and steel braided line. I just went with the cheapest and easiest (IMHO) route. Something that can easily be duplicated by anyone who has a AC specialist in their city.

Yeah I've been bad about taking pics of the engine bay. I'm in Raleigh for 2 weeks and back in Atlanta where the car is. I'll take pics then. I'll ask my friend who owns the shop to take some pics if he has time before I get back.

If he wasnt bashing, my apologies. I can admit when I am wrong and have no problems with saying so.
