EF4 or FP Black?
Glad to see the OP trying out the EF4 it should provide great results for what you are doing its definatly aimed at drag racing and high HP numbers and should provide you with just that.
In a direct comparison to a JB black it should be the best option for you, Look at Svens example he switched from a black to EF4 and has been much happier.
94AWD every time i see you post about an EF4 you rip it apart because its not an FP green, get a clue dude.

Sorry to bring back, but does anyone have anymore results between the 2?
Im trying to decide between the bb black and the ef4. Im shooting for around 650-700whp. it will be on a 2.3 stroker with kelford 280's

By the way, I am actually thinking about selling my EF4 for a smaller turbo if you are interested.
Has the op ever gotten a turbo and posted results? What is the most powerful an EF4 has made? What's the best ET with one? Everyone says it's bigger than a Black but I have yet to see that. Am I missing something?
From what i have gathered the EF4 has a better compressor wheel design and its blades are taller making it bigger.. if i remember Correctly the TGP Evo made 612hp on a mustang dyno and ran a 9.92 sec 1/4 Mile. IMPO the only down fall to the EF4 is its a JB turbo
Just curious is this still a downfall considering the FP Black has been reported oil slinging all over the place? Trying to decide on a new turbo, so been reading thru some threads. Seems FP Black BB is being reported as unreliable.
There must be well over 20 cars I can think of that are running 550+whp on FP Blacks without any issues.
But anyway, the FP stock frame turbos (BB) are currently unavailable, so the only option at the moment would be a journal bearing design, unless obviously if you purchase a used BB FP Black.
