Oil press sensor issue?

When leaving a light the low oil dummy light comes on.
I immediately pulled over and checked the oil level..full of oil no lack there of. I looked down at the sensor and noticed the connection was free moving.. saw the screw that holds the tab in place was loose so I tightened that up and no issue.

Well it came back again. Now the problem is this:
The screw is still tight and the connection doesn't move freely. The light only comes on at idle and it flickers at that point.. and when setting off from a dead start it flickers and its gone.
I've wiped clean the connection but its still doing it and I'm going to use connection cleaner spray tonight to hopefully solve the problem.... Has anyone ran into this problem?

See sig for entire build. Original sensor which the chassis is 114k on it. I'm thinking engine vibration may play a role as well..

Why this of all the sensors is designed with this type of clip on attachment is beyond me..

Before buying a new sensor, trace the wire as far back as you can and make sure the insulation hasn't been rubbed through anywhere. The wire could be grounding out somewhere, causing the light to come on or randomly flicker.
