Oil Light Flickers at idle

I know a little about cars, but I'm no mechanic. 2 weeks ago I had my camshaft oil seal and crank seal replaced. Along with the timing belt. A few days ago after driving for about 30 minutes the oil light flickered at idle. It has done it everyday since. As soon as I hit the gas it stops. I know this is because the oil is thinner when it's hot causing the sensor to register. Also the raising RPMs make the pump work harder. I'm getting an oil pressure test hopefully today. My question is how common is it for the oil pressure sensor to go out on these models (2003)? Car does have a lot of miles at 219K plus. Second question is would there be a correlation between the work that was done 2 weeks ago and this problem? Or is it a coincidence? Thanks!!

Nah. Oil level normal. It was the sensor. Oil pressure fine. Thanks for the reply though

Gotcha, figured it was one or the other. Better safe than sorry.
