Issue with drivetrain
Issue with drivetrain
Now with the binding noise and such the shop checked the transfercase I had it rebuilt and whatnot. Now the grinding noise persisted so I had them check the rear differential they told me it was the passengerside rear rim. They put the doughnut on there and the problem stopped.
Could that have been the problem all along I dont get it? they told me the rim was bent can that issue actually cause the car to act ****ed up like that in turns? my tires have plenty of meat on there what gives?

This all sound a little strange to me.
Look the removed rim over. Seems like it would have to be bent big time and rubbing. Also, try swapping the spare with the front wheel and see if things are still okay.

I would say the tires.
Did they road force it on the Balancer?
My Boss went through the same thing on a Audi A4. Swapped all 4 tires and it was gone, that's after he did 2 wheel bearings.

If the rim is bent, have it trued or replace it. If the rim is not bent, replace the tire. You will have to have a new tire cut down to match the wear on the other three.
