Glad that we can talk about this now Sorry to hear about the breakage, we have some thoughts on what it might be here though. If the trans was holding to shifts at 37psi I am thinking the mods you have there are working. It will be interesting to see what happened.

I have even more motivation to get mine done now

General-

Dave and I teamed up on this back in October, so this has been going on behind the scenes for awhile. Just to be clear, we were not copied. Just as Dave said we are working together with different approaches and different end goals. Having 2 cars that make over 800whp will assist in getting the weak links sorted out, Andrew's is getting a built motor literally as we speak so we can push his more than the 400whp through the auto it makes right now (460 manual). The White Evo will be getting one as well. Andrew will be at the Shootout this year, the White Evo, and hopefully if we have room in the trailer mine as well.

Great story. Interesting to see what happens with this thing! I am with your brother, Dave! lol

Although, I dont drag race competitively, so its not absolutely "needed" for me. See.....auto's break too!

I bet your brother was ripping you apart after that happened, huh?? haha I can hear him now, "should have kept the 5spd!"

Aaron, yes, it is fantastic that we can talk about it openly now, haha. Keeping that secret has been tough.

Thank you very much for the clarification that nothing was copied and we are working together, you and I know how that was going to go if it wasn't said, so I appreciate you saying it.

It's been great working with you and I hope we both manage to keep the progress coming!

This breakage is a downer but I guess it just means more parts need to be built. What I am honestly hoping for is something REALLY STUPID and we hit ourselves in the forehead and say "DUH!". Let's hope for that!

haha, Dan didn't say much except, with a grin on his face, "Need a push?" hahaha He pulled me around back with his hoopty and helped me get it inside. While he loves to shift I don't think he actually wishes me bad luck with this, he knows how much work I have in it and how bad I want it to work. I'll actually be able to drag race my own car if it does!

Don't be scared, do it! Well, don't do it too quick, seems there is more development needed. One of us will get it, English or us, whomever it is will be good for all of us.

Trust is a big deal and I am glad to see we have it between our shops. I'll text our thought on what happened. We have some ideas for the Phase 2 that if they materialise I will let you know as well. Never know when you might need a trans that can hold 700+ ft lbs and 1100whp

Ok so quick question.... For those of us planning on doing the swap, will we be buying a totally different tcase or swapping parts within that case. Basically do I sell or keep my tcase?

You buy a BR or ER auto solution. LOL. I kid.

Dave I never entertained a clutchless transmission but the way you make this sound has got me supremely interested. I don't drag race my car but I like the idea of power to ground more effectively for a car over 700hp.

Def. watching this thread. Any idea's on pricing yet or are you waiting until you feel you have a package that works no matter what you throw at it.

Reading this pretty much made my day the full manual VB will remind me of driving the camaro.

I'll deff be picking up one of these auto setups once the bugs are worked out, which IMO shouldn't be too hard with the collaboration of BR/ER.
