Fuel pump wont stop priming with key ON

hey guys i dont drive my evo that often, but lately ive been noticing something odd. Usually when the Ignition Key is turned to the ON position the fuel pump would prime for a few seconds and then stop. Well, recently i noticed that the pump does not stop priming . Also i can hear sometype of solenoid clicking intermeately, somewhere towards the dash/ firewall. Sounds like the pump stays on and the solenoid keeps clicking it life away. I will start by checking basic fuses under the dash and engine bay. If anyone has experienced this before please chime in. thank you for looking
