Was this a ball bearing design turbo or a journal bearing design green?

Well of course I posted straight here. This is the first problem I have had for my evo since purchased in 2005. I will defiantly keep you posted on what happens. I am not on here to bash fp I was just trying to get a idea if the machanic was full Of sh**. I have about 130k on my evo and I still have the stock clutch. The only work I have done is brakes, tires, and oil changes until last year. I put on calford cams last April and got it tuned.

I read a bunch of posts on here but never replied because I don't want to give anyone advice about something idk much about.

I hope that I didn't purchase my turbo with out having to.

By the way does anyone know any really good shops near philadelphia or suburb area?

All you have to do is call up FP and tell them about your problem. Im pretty sure they will give you advice on what to do next.

Well here is an update.

My suspicions were correct. My mechanic is a dumbass and the fp green was good. Fp recieved the turbo about a week and a half ago and pressure checked the turbo for over half an hour. They found no issues with the turbo leaking anything.

I got a call from Brian at fp telling me what they did to test the turbo and he said that I should defiantly take my car out of the shop that it is In now. He said to find a good local tuner shop that does this kinda work all the time.

Lesson learned. Never take your evo to your dads mechanic. They probably are only good for oil changes.

Thanks for everyone's input and advice.
