Clutch swap help
Clutch swap help
I recently started to burn out my stock clutch and am looking at replacing it. Wondering how much trouble it really is to replace it myself vs taking to a shop. My diy skills are pretty good so Im more trying to gauge how much of a pain it will be rather than if I will actually be able to do it. Any insight would be great.
Its not a fun job. Also tools if you have the right ones. i did my clutch on my MR. Was a learning exp thats for sure. Would have gone quicker with a lift but I i did it on jackstands... Its messy and frustrating but can be done.
make sure u have a slid hammer to pull out intermidate shafts. other than that g/l. def. a pain in the sac to do. but the $ savings makes it worth it. also study up the how to to get familiar with process and you should be okay
