2010 Evo X GSR with 59k miles. All stock except a short shifter and some springs.
It feels like somethings slipping when I get on the gas around 5k rpm's. I think it happens in all gears, but definitely 2,3, and 4.
I know the lifespans of stock clutches are all over the board. I'm generally pretty easy on the car.
If it is the clutch, any suggestions for a daily driver replacement? I deal with DC traffic, so nothing that's going to make that more miserable than it already is. And how much does a clutch replacement usually run?

When my buddy was pricing clutch jobs a couple years ago at shops around the DMV area, CBRD had the best price for it. It's not a cheap install by any means though.
For a DD, I'd look at the Exedy stage 1.
ACT HDSS is a good option too.
Best test for a clutch, put the car in third, and do a pull from 2500rpm's, and watch the tach. You'll see it jump up when the car gets into boost if the clutch is slipping.
