oil smoke comming out exhaust on cold start up?

well the motor was just rebuilt motor has around 2,000 on it. i run brad penn 20w50. like the title says on cold start up once is warm it goes away. it is not the valve stem seals and i know for a fact it isnt and i know for a fact the turbo seals are good. however the car does not have a catch can on it which it does need bad. the oil is slightly over full but nothing major. kinda lost. i checked compression it is good across the board and nothing on the spark plugs. coco brown.

might add wiseco 1400hd pistons .40 over, mahnley rods, acl bearings, gsc s2 camshafts, gsc springs and retainers all work done by a highly sourced shop (accelerated performance). i checked oil and does not seem to be burning any either

You sure it's oil smoke and not normal start-up vapor? If you're certain it's not this, it may be the piston rings taking some heat to expand and close up some piston to wall gap. Is your motor especially loud on cold start-up?

I've got the same similar issue in mine. I suspect valve stem seals. - I'll change once they arrive at my door.
Mine seems odd as it only happens on cold start, even when the engine gets warm it still won't go away. It's only until I get on boost that it will completely disappear.
My turbo has no play.

bubba17 have you come to any conclusions yet?
I've just swapped my valve stems seals yesterday and I am still suffering this issue.
I also do not have a catch can or any breathers. PCV checks, all lines checked. Compression test done, all fine and even.
Still stumped!
