Aps Products: Good Or Bad

Hey Everyone,

I am seeing if anyone has purchased any APS products. What was the quality of the product? Were the gains good and/or bad?

This is for any of the APS products. So please list what product you bought and your feelings on it.

thank you so much

APS has a pretty good rep in the subie crowd. I have checked out their exhuast systems (for a WRX at the time) and it looked pretty good.

I would have no problem using APS on my WRX or now the EVO.

Would you choose APS over, lets say, HKS?

I think it really depends...
on some products HKS might be better but on the other hand, APS might have some better specific products...

Aps products are top notch high quality stuff here!!! I think its quality is better than most oem parts and aftermarket parts as well. They have been around for a long time so they have the knowledge to make stuff that works. I have their aps cold air intake and this things is awesome!!! Quality is great!!! Fits like a charm and it looks so stock its scary. My friends look under my hood and ask its stock, what did you do??? But man I can tell the difference in performance. You hear the turbo spool up like a jet engine. Especially at night time!!! Cold air equal more power and it pulls hard!!! I own a honda as well and got all the japanese jdm stuff on it. I wanted to go a different route with my evo, so I went Austrailian Aps. No more coffie can exhausts for me=) I'm waiting on the aps turbo upgrade system that they have coming out. Check out their webpage at :www.airpowersystems.com.au

Not as bling bling as the jdm stuff but it they perform!!!

One of the local shops tunes WRXs and STis exclusively with APS parts. They rate the quality very high and value top notch. I tried to get the EVO exhaust through them, but couldn't. APS wanted them to make a large EVO order and wouldn't send just the one EVO exhaust with the Suby parts they had coming. I'm curious about the turbos as well because their Suby turbos are incredible.

my 11 second WRX had many APS products... the quality is great, the DR650 front mount was huge, 4.5 inches thick! I purchased the APS turbo back for my Evo, the fit was excellent, a few more bends than what I would have liked, but it made some great power, 40 whp and 40lbs + of torque to the wheels gain from just the exhaust. I highly recommend there products, you'll be happy with them. I tested the before and after on an AWD dyno this last weekend. I'll scan the dyno sheet and post the before and after as soon as I get it from the shop.
