Installed a BOV, car threw a cel
no i am not stalling or rough idle... idles fine, however... i went over to ocho's house last night to help him install the k&n typhoon intake, and after we did that he told me about his forge BOV and that he was selling it... he told me it was to loud for him... so he decided i could try it for a day and i graciously accepted so we intalled the BOV and had no prblems... then today i was driviing around town at normal speeds and all of the sudden my check engine light came on... seeing this and knowing that the only aftermarket thing on my car i have is the BOV i too the bov back off and put the stock DV back on, and tried starting up the car again and the check engine light is still on so now i am going to let the car cool off and check later, but, has anyone else had this issue with their BOV???
I am going to schedule an appointment at the dealer to see if they can figure it out...

I think what he was asking was if you reset the ecu before starting the car up with the newly installed BOV.
Making changes to the car and not resetting the ecu can sometimes cause a cel.
