Half radiator mounting issue

Ive got a half Koyorad and the driver side OEM mount obviously works perfectly fine. My plan was to drill a hole right behind the hood latch to mount the "passenger" side rad mount with a bolt and nut. Problem is, my hood wont close.

Ive seen pictures of a few engine bays with the OEM rad mounts set up in the exact way I wanted to mount mine. How does your hood close?! Mine wont close because it seems like the hump on the hood where the latch latches is hitting the radiator mount since it sticks up quite a bit.

Do you need to trim that part of the hood? Dremel down the rad mount a bit? Halppppp.

I'm assuming you will have to trim the hood. Subscribed for other input

Heres an example of it working perfectly fine

Heres my halfassed rigging right now just to keep it from bouncing around, I have it ziptied thru the hole I drilled to bolt the bracket down and a shot of the hood where I believe the bracket is hitting
