30-40 Thousands off flywheel?

I was planning on changing my clutch this weekend and I have an ACT street-lite flywheel. I went to go get it resurfaced so I could have it ready for the weekend. The shop said it had a lot of hot spots and it would need 30-40 thousands, maybe even 50 thousands to make flat. So my question is, is that a lot to take off on a flywheel? I don't want to have it resurfaced and then put everything back together and then have the clutch not have enough material to grab on to. Should I just get another flywheel?

I just done a quick conversion on the internet and they convert from thou to mm as follows.

30thou = 0.76mm
40thou = 1.01mm
50thou = 1.26mm

Doesnt seem so bad when converted to mm but im no engineer so can say weather its safe to do so or not.

After doing some research, looks like I should be fine to re-use the ACT flywheel since it is flat and doesn't need the flywheel step. Can someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Here's what I found....
