what all would you reccommend for the drivetrain for supporting that? mainly the transmission. i hear so many mixed results that the tranny can and also can not support that power.\

any REAL ideas?
Torque is the bigger issue for the trans. If you hit 550 whp but keep wtq below 400 you should be okay. Some members on here are on the stock trans. and making low 4s for tq but youre taking a risk by doing that. you might want to upgrade the clutch (im using a comp sprung street disc), but with that turbo I dont think youll hit enough wtq to warrant replacing the trans.

It you use meth the injectors can be smaller.
I hit 542whp on 990 injectors with no fuel issues!

I agree to a point. If your tuner knows how what he is doing there should be no issues with going over 400 tq. I know it kinda sucks but if the tuner can draw out the tq curve and make it come on later in the rpm range, that will do wonders for your drivetrain. If it comes on to early and the innital shock of it being there yeah why we are supposedly limited to 400 tq. If its spread out and eased into the tq range you can go over without any issues. I beat on my car all the time when I feel like being that way without any issues what so ever. Pump, e85 doesn't matter car still strong as it was origionally. Keep that in mind.

400wtq is nothing, my friend. I agree with Brian on this one. It is the violent torque spikes you should be aware of less than 4,200 RPM. I am making 470wtq at 5,000 RPM and I have no concerns about my drive train whatsoever.

Yes very true. It would pretty much defeat the purpose of going with a small, quick spooling turbo though. The stock trans should be fine for quite a while using a 6262 and without building the block at all I dont see the op's setup falling into the "power coming on too early" category..of courde this is all assuming its not terribly abused lol

6262 should do 550 on 93 with no problem, but you definitely need injectors.

by the way i have a set of precision 1200cc injectors that i just replaced with 2150cc.if you want them they're yours for $200 shipped.they are in perfect working order, guaranteed.

shoot me a PM if interested.
