how to install evo 8 clutch on a evo 4

how to install evo 8 clutch on a evo 4

can someone please tell me how going about install a act xt clutch kit from a evo 8 onto a evo 4

does it have to be the 2005 evo 8 act xt kit or??

and do i only have to remove the alignment pin dowel?

as above and the evo 7 also uses same size clutch as 8/9 , you could also drill the dowel hole in the flywheel

and yeah just grind the dowel pins so there flush correct?

Whatever you sort out guys keep the pressure plate light. Evo4's will spin bearings of you look at them the wrong way

Technically Evo1-3s will also too as they use the same thrust bearing setup as the evo4s.

I've been running an evo4 engine for the past 8years now and never a problem with crankwalk, oil starvation finally killed it.

I don't disagree with you on that

Just saying a 3200# pressure plate with a 4 puck disc on a vehicle with unknown history is probably a bad idea (not saying that's what the OP wants, just saying )
