I agree. It's a cheap mod, easy install, no reason to wait.

ps. after installing my new fmic, tuning was way off. ran too rich. new fuel pump almost fixed the problem by itself. I have Walbro 255lpH. That should be a good enough fuel pump until you hit >500whp. My $.02

I know this is a little off but depending on how much more power your adding here is something on the injectors...

I would say upgrade rather soon if you are adding any decent amount of power on top of what you have... not critical just easy to do... why wait...

Not an issue... but 40 years of rock & roll haven't sharpened my hearing ;-).

My friend had a high output walbro pump and he said it whistled kinda loud so he used a pump from a 350z, turbo of coarse which was alot quieter .He drives an eclipse with a 20g turbo.

I have the Walbro pump and can't hear a thing. Then again withfmic & hard pipe, intake and exhaust, the engine and turbo are so loud who could hear anything

What does the upgraded pump really do - just push more fuel through the car? Does is lower your gas mileage?

I've added about 40whp to mine. THanks.

Where is the cheapest place to get a pump? Someone told me you also need an install kit. Is this necessary and how much is it also?. Thanks
